Los Angeles, late 1940s.  Screenwriters and cheap private eyes. Blondes, crooners and corruption.  This sexy spoof of film noir is a howlingly funny and cool satire of our town and its foremost industry, with a brilliant script by Larry Gelbart, a jazzy score by Cy Coleman and wonderfully acerbic lyrics by David Zippel.  Songs include: "You're Nothing Without Me", "With Every Breath I Take", and "What You Don't Know About Women".

"Laugh-out loud gags and situations...scathingly funny." -Variety

"Exhilarating- the funniest musical in years." -New York Times
