Frank Loesser's 1956 masterpiece has one of the richest, most glorious scores in all of musical theatre, including such timeless songs as "My Heart is So Full of You," "Big 'D'," Joey, Joey, Joey" and "Standing on the Corner." The story is of an aging, lonely vineyard owner in the Napa Valley who sends for a young mail order bride, who then becomes attracted to his young, handsome foreman. It is a genuinely emotional , deeply felt love story. "Musical magnificence, first-rate" praised The New York Times; "Merely a great, great musical, a great tribute to the talents of Frank Loesser" from the Journal American. FRANK LOESSER'S MUSICAL: THE MOST HAPPY FELLA based on Sidney Howard's "They Knew What They Wanted."
