The rollicking adventures of three sailors in New York on a 24-hour leave in search of "Miss Turnstiles" features an unforgettably urban Leonard Bernstein score, the always deft, sophisticated lyrics of Comden and Green and a madcap love affair with the hum and whirl of Times Square, the subway and Coney Island. The boys get tangled up with a gaggle of young women-- how about a cabby and an anthropologist? The zesty songs include the classic New York, New York, Lonely Town and I Can Cook Too. It all moves brightly through a fantastic riot of song and dance in a razzle-dazzle musical comedy to delight everyone.
